Located in the heart of Brussels, Sainte- Catherine’s Square is filled with history and a is wonderful place to discover. The old banks of the channel connecting Brussels to the sea still testify to the activity which reigned there. In addition, the church Sainte-Catherine dating to 1854 and designed by the architect Joseph Poelaert is worth a visit. Sainte Catherine’s Square reflects the old world quality of Brussels. It was very recently renovated in its entirety, and a pedestrian area was restored after three decades of vehicular use.
